VIDI Project X is a developing microcomputer, completely designed, and developed in Croatia. It is powered by a powerful ESP32 processor, contains two cores and a TFT touchscreen. VIDI X is equipped with a few interesting sensors and a special port that allows additional expansion of functionality. The possibilities for usage of VIDI X microcomputer are endless. It is possible to attach additional sensors and use them to control complex systems like a smart house or classroom. Its Wi-Fi and BT communication properties are used to connect other external systems.
VIDI Project X optimally uses the options of its two core ESP32 processor and therefore, it is used as a multifunctioning microcomputer or as a circuit board, as an effective HUB for a cluster of sensors or, for a completely new purpose that the IT community will come up with.
VIDI Project X already grew its roots deep in the Croatian biggest technology companies that have helped us test it and build on the project.
Ideas and suggestions made by some of the best engineers that work for companies like Byte Lab, Rimac Automobili, and Golden Brothers greatly contributed to the development of the board that has been in the Beta testing phase for a year. In the spring of 2020, the final improved production model has arrived which has been circling among beta testers for a while.
VIDI Project X is a platform that gathers all people and institutions that have good intentions and want to create innovative work settings in order to inspire the younger generation, no matter what their area of interest is, to work on new projects individually and in a group that could develop into start-up companies.
VIDI Project X takes part in the initiative “DREAM AND MAKE IT HAPPEN” that has been started by the technology publishing house VIDI that is a gathering place for everybody who wants to make possible for the students (from school to college ages) to make, at least, a part of their dreams come true.
The goal is to allow students access to the best technology that supports their learning process and sparks their curiosity to look for new discoveries in order to make them more educated and rounded people that will contribute to the society as a whole to become more educated, tolerant and socially equal.
They will be able to achieve better conditions for everybody through managing their own projects and initiatives while studying in school or when they finish their formal education. The act of sharing of the VIDI X microcomputers with the help of other companies and individuals is just the beginning of a long journey. To us, sharing equals to multiplication of knowledge and ideas that the individuals and groups will foster through collaboration in our projects.
